Job Title: SENIOR DEVICE ENGINEER OptiComp Corporation is currently seeking an innovative, motivated, goal- oriented Senior Device Engineer. The position will focus on design, fabrication and characterization aspects of a product line. His or her responsibilities will include: Develop product requirements and specifications in coordination with Principle Investigators to meet customer requirements Basic optical modeling using Zemax and Matlab Design lithography photomasks Work closely with the fabrication and test groups and oversee product manufacturing and characterization Apply engineering and statistical data handling knowledge to solve sophisticated optoelectronic device issues Job Requirements: Education: M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related field Extensive knowledge of semiconductor optoelectronic devices like VCSELs and PINs Extensive Experience in optoelectronic or microelectronic device characterization and fabrication Proven hands-on technology approach and ability to understand and write technical documentation At least 5 years of experience in product or manufacturing development in a hi-tech environment, experience with Zemax, Matlab, and LabView is desired.
