Job Title: SENIOR VCSEL ENGINEER OptiComp Corporation is currently seeking an innovative, motivated, goal- oriented Senior VCSEL Engineer. The position will focus on design, fabrication and characterization aspects of the VCSEL product line. His or her responsibilities will include: Develop product requirements and specifications in coordination with Principle Investigators to meet customer requirements Design lithography photomasks Interpret PL-, Hall-, and x-ray diffraction measurements and make design adjustments where necessary Work closely with the fabrication and test groups and oversee product manufacturing and characterization Apply engineering and statistical data handling knowledge to solve sophisticated optoelectronic device issues Job Requirements: Education: Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related field Extensive knowledge of VCSEL device design, fabrication, and characterization Proven hands-on technology approach and ability to understand and write technical documentation At least 5 years of experience in product or manufacturing development in a hi-tech environment, experience with PL-, Hall-, and x-ray diffraction measurements is desired.
