Job Title: TOSA/ROSA ENGINEER OptiComp Corporation is currently seeking an innovative, motivated, goal- oriented TOSA/ROSA Engineer. The position will focus on design, fabrication and characterization aspects of both Tx and Rx optical subassemblies. His or her responsibilities will include: Develop product requirements and specifications in coordination with Principle Investigators to meet customer requirements Design lithography photomasks Basic optical modeling using Zemax and Matlab Work closely with the test and packaging groups and oversee module assembly and characterization Apply engineering and statistical data handling knowledge to solve sophisticated optoelectronic device issues Job Requirements: Education: M.Sc., Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related field Extensive knowledge of optical subsystems, fiber alignment, and RF system characterization Proven hands-on technology approach and ability to understand and write technical documentation At least 5 years of experience in product or manufacturing development in a hi-tech environment, experience with Zemax, Matlab, and LabView is desired.
