Dr. James Harris

Dr. Harris joined the OptiComp Scientific Advisory Board on December 10th, 2001. He is a James and Ellenor Chesebrough Professor of Electrical Engineering and by courtesy, Materials Science and Applied Physics at Stanford University. Dr. Harris's research focuses on molecular beam epitaxy, quantum transport, and optoelectronic devices. His Laboratory includes five MBE systems, complete III-V processing and testing laboratory with 30 Ph.D. students, post docs and visiting researchers. Dr. Harris received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees at Stanford University.
