Senior Semiconductor Optical Amplifier Engineer
OptiComp Corporation is seeking an experienced and innovative device engineer with direct, preferably industrial experience in the design, fabrication and testing of semiconductor optical amplifiers. The qualified individual will be responsible for the development of high power, low-noise SOA’s for military applications, and will work with a team on device design, modeling, fabrication, testing, and packaging of SOA’s, in addition to contributing to the preparation of proposals and technical reports for government contracts.

Requirements:

Ph D. in Electrical Engineering, physics or a related field

Minimum of five (5) years industrial or post graduate experience developing and producing semiconductor optoelectronic devices

Deep familiarity with SOA device fabrication and characterization

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

U.S. citizenship required
